David O'Dwyer b. 1953
I started painting in 2014. I have always had an interest in art, mainly art history and the life stories of artists. My main area of interest has been Impressionist art, both European and Australian.
I mainly paint Landscapes but I have done a small number of portraits on commission. I have paintings in private collections in Narooma NSW, Tarwonga Victoria, Ballarat, Colac, Williamstown and Geelong.
I have a small art studio in Bell Park Geelong where I try to spend a few hours each day painting for enjoyment. I find trying to paint new and different subjects is helping me develop new skills as well improving my basic painting skills. There are always new things to learn. |
