Chris is a creative visual artist whose paintings are the result of a combination of plein air and studio application involving a methodology of biophilic sensate. Chris immerses himself within the landscape, working with it to make the initial marks upon the loose canvas then completing the painting back at studio, once stretched.

The natural landscape of the Australian bush has lured him since he was young and is the inspiration that motivates a big part of his practice.

Chris has a degree from Flinders University, Bachelor of Visual Arts (creative arts), attained at the studios at Adelaide College of the Arts and an honours degree from Uni SA, Bachelor of Art and Design. Chris has exhibited in many exhibitions over the years including The Fleurieu Art Prize as a finalist and the annual South Australian Living Artist Exhibition in which he won a best painting award.
